Speek lets people share a listen link for a reading they made from their own document. Sharers must confirm they wrote it or have the right to share it, and published books cannot be shared at all. If a listen link uses your work without permission, tell us and we will turn it off.

Designated Agent

Copyright Agent, Speek, operated by Alex Wtorkowski, Illinois, USA. Email hello@getspeek.com with the subject Copyright Notice, or use the form below.

What Happens

We review every notice, usually within one business day. When a notice is valid we turn the listen link off, tell the person who shared it, and send them this page. The reading stays in their own library; only the public link stops working.

If they send a counter notice, we forward it to you and turn the link back on in 10 to 14 business days, unless you tell us you have filed a court action. Two upheld notices pause sharing on an account for 30 days, and a third ends sharing for that account.

Send a Copyright Notice

Each field below is required by law (17 USC 512(c)(3)). A notice that is knowingly false can make you liable for damages.

Send a Counter Notice

If your listen link was turned off and you believe that was a mistake, or that you have the right to share the work, send a counter notice (17 USC 512(g)(3)).

Other Problems

For private information, harassment or impersonation, use Report This Reading on the listen page, or email us. See also our Terms.
