How It Works

Send It Anything. Hear It Later.

Speek turns the long things you are sent or create into a reading in a natural voice, so you can finish them on a walk, a drive or a run instead of leaving another tab open.

Four Steps, About Two Minutes.

  1. Send It to Speek

On iPhone, share a PDF, deck, link or text to Speek from any app. On Mac, press Control Option S to send the text you have selected, or the page open in your browser, or drop a file on Speek. Speek handles PDFs, PowerPoint and Keynote decks, Word documents, web links and pasted text, including AI research reports and notes from your AI assistant.

  2. Choose How Much You Hear

Read All reads every section in order. Focused keeps the full argument and drops the boilerplate, legal footers and repeated slides. TLDR gives you the point, the evidence and what to do next in a few minutes. You can hear the same document again in another mode at any time.

  3. Speek Writes What to Say

A document is written for the eye. Speek prepares a script for the ear: tables become sentences, charts are described, headings are announced, and page clutter is left out. You can keep working while it gets ready; most documents take a couple of minutes.

  4. Listen Anywhere

The reading lands in Up Next. Press play, lock your phone and go. Pick any of 19 voices, all on every plan, and change voice or speed, from 0.75× to 2×, while it reads. Speek keeps your place, so you can stop at the station and pick it up on the way home.

Read for the Ear

What Speek Does With the Hard Parts.

Most text to speech reads everything on the page in the order it appears. That is why tables sound like a phone book and footnotes interrupt every sentence. Speek reads the document the way a colleague would read it to you.

Tables

Read as sentences that compare the numbers, not cell by cell.

“Europe grew from 4.1 to 5.3 million dollars, up 29 percent.”

Headings

Announced, so you always know which section you are in.

“Section three: where storage already pays for itself.”

Charts

Described in plain words: what is measured and which way it moves.

“The chart shows churn falling every quarter, from 6 percent to just under 4.”

Page Clutter

Running headers, footers, page numbers and long URLs are skipped.

You never hear “page 14 of 62, confidential” again.

Citations

Kept out of the middle of sentences, so the argument flows.

The sources stay in the document for when you need them.

Slides

Read in order, one slide after another, with the slide title first.

“Slide 14, the Q3 revenue bridge.”

One Voice, Your Words

Your Document, in Your Order.

Some AI audio tools turn a file into two hosts talking about it. That is fine for a gist, but numbers get rounded and whole sections disappear. Speek uses one voice reading your document. Read All is built to keep every section and figure in order, and when a detail matters you can check it against the source.

ModeWhat You HearTypical Length
Read AllEvery section, in order, lightly rewritten for listeningAbout the time it takes to read it aloud
FocusedThe full argument without boilerplate and repetition. An edit, not the full textShorter than Read All

Your Documents Stay Yours

Private by Default.

We do not train models on your documents. Our AI providers process them only to read your document aloud, and you can delete a document and its audio at any time. Turn on Keep on This Device and we delete our copy as soon as the audio reaches your phone. Read the Privacy Policy.
